Writing- ABC123

• Goes over letter names, sounds, and formation as well as number formation

Goals- KINDERGARTEN READINESS

• Religion- Sign of the cross, shows reverence during prayer
• Language- Recognizes names and sounds of letters, can participate in a read aloud, follow two/three step direction
• Mathematics- Counts to 30, shows understanding of shapes and patterns
• Gross motor and fine motor- age appropriate abilities
• Social/Emotional- Working with others, solving problems, self control

Folders

• Homework folder- sent home Monday through Thursday

Homework is a reinforcement of what we have done in class and should be done with the supervision of an adult. 

• Wednesday folder- communication to/from the office

Please send payments back in this folder to keep them secure.

• Friday folder- student work throughout the week

Please look through and empty folder over the weekend

Extras

• Water bottle policy
• Drop off- from 7:00 am. -7:30 a.m. option of front door or back

      after 7:30 a.m.- front door of school

• Nail polish/jewelry 
• Nap items(sheet, blanket, small pillow) and sweat clothes will be sent home on Fridays 
• PreK website- cyber days, BigDayforPreK, extra websites for practice
