University of Central Florida- BS Early Childhood

Ms. Wasko

Lauren Wasko graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2016 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite things to do in her free time are to spend time with her family (and dogs) as well as work with horses. She has ridden horses since she was 8 years old and now teaches young children how to ride. She is very happy to be here at Good Shepherd with a community as welcoming as you!

Mrs. Cease

Mrs. Cease has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. Previously, Mrs. Cease taught 1st Grade in Anne Arundel Public Schools and worked in Cecil County Public Schools as a long term-substitute. Mrs. Cease spends much of her free time with her two daughters, husband of 24 years, and pets. Some of her favorite hobbies include painting, crafts, reading, and gardening.

Mrs. Boyd

Mrs. Boyd has had the privilege of working here for the past 8 years.  Prior to her tenure here, she worked in Baltimore County and Cecil County.  She is the oldest of six kids and uses her siblings and personal life stories to help students understand the content and give them a glimpse of the importance of faith in their lives.  She has three children-- which are current Good Shepherd students.  She loves spending time with them and watching them grow!!

Mrs. Meyer

Mrs. Meyer loves Catholic Schools and teaching her two favorite subjects - Science & Religion. Mrs. Meyer earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Dayton and has 15 years of experience teaching in Ohio and Iowa. She enjoys gardening, reading scripture, women’s Bible studies, walking, cooking, Pilates, and a good cup of hot tea. You can often find her outdoors and on adventures with her husband, two active boys, and sweet dog.

Ms. Speck

Ms. Speck has worked at Good Shepherd for many years in our aftercare program.  While working for us part time, she finished her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Towson University.  We are now blessed to have her in a new role at Good Shepherd as a full time teacher.  In her free time Ms. Speck enjoys spending time with her dog and hiking. She loves to travel and hike in new places in Maryland. She is very happy to be a part of the Good Shepherd community.

Mr. Johnson

Mr. Johnson is a proud graduate of Salisbury University with a Degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration.  He worked in the business world for 27 years and was successful in management, sales and as a company president; however, was always longing to make a difference and loved coaching sports.  He decided it was time to make a change and become a teacher so he began taking courses at Notre Dame University of Maryland and became a certified teacher.  

Mr. Johnson loves working with the students at Good Shepherd.  They are all very special and they all have their unique skills and different ways of learning.  Mr. Johnson believes God led him here to do His will.

Mrs. Villnave

Mrs. Villnave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Education.  Mrs. Villnave also was a contributor to the published book Inspirations of the Heart by Jacquelyn Scott and is currently working on her own book.

Mrs. Chicosky

Mrs. Chicosky (long o) has her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies with a concentration in Youth Ministry.  Her 11 years of teaching experience come from Catholic and public schools at both the middle and high school levels.

Ms. Bennett

Ms. Bennett will be starting her teaching career at Good Shepherd after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Educational Studies and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in General Science and a certificate in Special Education, both from Wilmington University.  Ms. Bennett is also a product of our Diocese of Wilmington.  She attended Corpus Christi School and St. Mark’s High School.

Shepherd University- Music Education

Mrs. Henrich

Mrs. Henrich is excited to be the music instructor at Good Shepherd! As a French Hornist primarily, she performed with the Symphony Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Marching Band at Hedgesville High School and Shepherd University.  High School is where she fell in love with musical instruments.  She started learning the saxophone in middle school and then learned the tenor saxophone, trumpet, and then french horn. She was drum major of her high school band where she then learned to arrange musical pieces for classes and lead the band during marching season and throughout the year. She is also proficient on the guitar, ukulele, flute, and percussion. 

Mrs. Henrich attended Shepherd University and student taught at South Middle school and Hedgesville High School, teaching 6th-12th grade, both located in West Virginia.

Mrs. Murphy

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mrs. Murphy graduated from Kent State University, Ohio with an art history degree and an ROTC Commission in the US Army. She earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, California; and her art education certification through University of Arizona.

After serving as a field artillery and military intelligence officer overseas and stateside, she transitioned to education. While new to Good Shepherd Catholic School, she is not new to teaching. During her educational career, she earned the Arizona Middle School Art Teacher of the Year Award.

She and her husband Kevin reside in Perryville, where they love exploring the area and following their favorite athletic teams. They are proud parents of three grown children and grandchildren and their beloved pets.

Mrs. Collado


It has been a pleasure for Mrs Collado to be part of this remarkable school since 2015. She is married to Deacon Robinson Collado and the have two children. She enjoys spending quality time with family, reading, cooking, and doing crafts. It has been a great experience for Mrs. Collado to teach Spanish to the students of Good Shepherd. Mrs. Tracy Harreld

Ms. Tracy is the Office Manager for our school.  Some of her favorite activities include spending time with her family, reading and traveling as much as she can.
