Mrs. Cease has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. Previously, Mrs. Cease taught 1st Grade in Anne Arundel Public Schools and worked in Cecil County Public Schools as a long term-substitute. Mrs. Cease spends much of her free time with her two daughters, husband of 24 years, and pets. Some of her favorite hobbies include painting, crafts, reading, and gardening. 

Lauren Bowersox graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2016 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite things to do in her free time are to spend time with her family (and dogs) as well as work with horses. She has ridden horses since she was 8 years old and now teaches young children how to ride. She is very happy to be here at Good Shepherd with a community as welcoming as you!

Lisa Chicosky has a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from The University of Delaware and a Master of Pastoral Studies with a concentration in youth ministry from Loyola University, New Orleans.  She has taught language arts for over 30 years in public and private schools.  Focusing on the fundamentals of reading and writing has always been a passion of hers, which led her to also do subject tutoring as well as SAT, ACT, and HSPT prep through Huntington Learning Center in Newark, DE, for 28 years. Lisa is married with four children and is a parishioner of Immaculate Conception in Elkton, where she is a lector. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling to visit her family. She has been influenced greatly by the charism of the Oblates of St. Frances de Sales and does her best to “Live Jesus.” Her hope is that her students see the love and compassion of Christ through her actions and her teaching.
